Shane Meade & the Sound

The JV Jamboree is an annual music & charity fundraising event hosted by Shane Meade & the Sound in memory of our dear friend Jason Varner. The event serves as both a celebration of his life and as a way of giving back to the community by helping those in need.  Each year an organization, charity, or cause is selected by Meade to be the JV Jamboree Beneficiary, with proceeds to be donated to that organization in Jason’s name.  Over the years, SMS has helped raise and donated thousands of dollars to the likes of the Boys & Girls Club of Tampa Bay, Southeastern Guide Dogs - “Paws for Patriots” - Program, Children’s Dream Fund, Hope On The Horizon, Challenged Athletes of WV - Adaptive Ski Program, Advocates for Animals of WNC, Catman 2 Shelter, and the YMCA.
